Internet Survey Scams
There are tons of people who have come across the appeal of taking surveys for extra cash and have thought it the greatest thing since sliced bread. The issues that so many faces with these offers are that they usually do not pan out.
Promised money is often never delivered or in many cases, people are left with just giving away their private contact details to a marketing company. While scammers make the money, you get nothing from these websites. Just when you thought answering a couple of questions would bring you supplementary income, you could really become a victim of Internet survey scams.
Another kind of Internet survey scams entices people to pay a small price to gain access to surveys found in their system. Most people are not bothered with this, as the fee is usually not a lot. Soon, they change their tune when they find that after the fee is paid, the surveys they have access to don’t pay anything. Also, to add insult to injury – the surveys are the same ones that are listed at other locations that don’t cost anything to access.
A common way that Internet survey scams trick unsuspecting users is that they post testimonials on their sites that look like a lot of real people have been happy with the service. All of the testimonials are false and made up.
However, these testimonials make the survey website appear legitimate and trustworthy. People gain a sense that they too can become a success. This is what often hooks victims.
There are also some sweepstakes survey sites that work on a point per survey system that is based upon how much you are willing to finish. Some users don’t even have to finish all of the questions. At the end, you are one step closer to racking up the enormous amount of points required to receive any type of prize.
If you are interested in a survey website, make sure you do a lot of research before you commit yourself to the deal.
